In the case of this tea, it no belief that the drink obtained is a tea..The taste and colour of apples join perfectly with the roselle.
I like this tea a lot. Drinking it mostly during Sundays and was never disappointed with its fresh and delightful taste.
This is good, but not as good as the Waterlillies. If I could taste the mint more, make it a real competing flavor with the fruit, I would like it a ton more and it would be a lot more unique. But, it is still a solid iced tea option.
The Teavivre herbal blends sound and look amazing! This one seems like mostly hibiscus/rose hips which I'm not a fan of... but some of the other herbal blends from Teavivre sound amazing. This blend also has some apple and mint. Two teaspoons at just boiling for my 12 ounce mug and the red of this cup is looking fierce. Before sipping, there is an apple cider like fragrance. The first sips are extremely tart but really it's like a syrupy fruit punch/apple cider. I probably could have added a bit of sugar. It's tough to notice the mint except for the hints of cool to my mouth. The tartness is more tolerable as I'm drinking but this one would be an AMAZING iced tea. I think I'd like the blends with less hibiscus better but this one was good. Steep #1 // 2 tsps. // just boiled // 2-3 min
A stronger taste of lemon and verbena with a crisp apple aftertaste-very clean tasting. You get a bit of tartness, that I really enjoy. You get a lovely mix of fragrant and brightly colored dried fruits with just a sprinkling of pale green leaves. Very nice mixing.
Hot or cold this tea has a nice light sweet taste. Great for a cold evening. When I am looking for a stronger flavour I blend some black tea with it for its own unique flavour.
I shared this one with my daughter and we both loved it. Nice tea for a cold evening.
Loved the apple flavour. It was subtle with taste of rosehips. I would have prefered a stronger flavour. Mixing some black tea with it was what did the trick for me.
I received this as a free sample and both me and the kids loved it. Has a true apple taste with a nice tartness that was perfect. I think this would make an excellent iced tea. The only thing I did not care for was the fact that it dried my mouth out a bit. Used Teavana Perfectea Rock Sugar to sweeten and steeped for 11 minutes.
It’s a long 9 minute steep for this fruit tea so I helped myself to a piece of apple in the raw mixture and it was very fresh and scrumptiously good. The tea once brewed is reddy/purple in colour with only a subtle apple/fruit fragrance. Whoops I burnt my lip trying to taste it’s fruity essence too eagerly :( Waiting a few minutes before sipping again I can taste mixed fruit of which apple is the background ingredient behind what tastes like rosehip. It’s very sweet but it tastes naturally so and it’s also a little sour, sort of like apple candy/sweets. It’s a very nice subtle apple tea and it is refreshing and clean tasting. The downside for me is that I would prefer if it was a little stronger with the apple and a little less rosehip. I bet this would make a delicious iced tea.
