Oh-My-God. This is one of the best fruit teas I've ever had. I had it as a sample. Cannot wait to get more.
This is not your typical "watered down" herbal tea- it is packed with flavor...there is definitely no skimping on this wonderful fruit flavor. It’s thicker and flavorful like a juice. Sooo delicious! And for those of you who don’t like hibiscus, don’t fret… this tea has the tiniest little taste of it (roselle is a species of hibiscus) that just enhances the flavor. Seriously, this tea is like a bowl of fresh blueberries, cherries, and currants wrapped into one. It is a little tart…but tart in an amazing way. I love it! Will be buying again.
Enjoyed this as a free sample & will definitely be purchasing it on my next order! Lovely!
The tea smells amazing right after opening the packet. There is a very fruity, wildberry-like scent even after steeping. However the tea, when served hot, is rather sour and it should have more blueberry taste. Altogether I am satisfied, it is a refreshing beverage with a nice scent and taste, but don't expect blueberries as a major taste...
A really beautiful tea, full flavoured and a very good pick me up. A lovely colour which I am looking forward to displaying in a glass teacup.
I'm giving it 4 stars simply because so far I can only enjoy this tea cold. I found steeping it hot really unpleasant. Iced however it is quite good although I found a shorter steeping time maybe about 5min better for me than the recommended 8min. I found the longer steeping time gave the tea a medicinal taste. So I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
I took this tea as one of my free samples. I liked it a lot. Not a fan of hibiscus but in this tea it tastes great... Very special fruit tea. Must have for me for hot days. Been away for a while and now i am back and ready to enjoy in teavivre selection of teas.
A really tasty tea! i suggest you get this as one of your free samples on your next order :D i got this product as a free sample on my first order :)
HOLY MOLY. I received my Teavivre Black Friday order today. Some of my Canadian orders haven’t even shipped yet. This is amazing. Of course, the first thing I broke into was this blueberry tea. Just opening the package, it smells so good. It’s just dried fruits, and they are intense. I used one package (about 3 tsp) in 16oz hot water. This dilution actually works well for me. The roselle concerned me a bit. I’m not a huge fan of hibiscus, although it does work for me in some blends. Here? It’s amazing. The tea brews up and looks like wine. The flavour is hibiscus-y, but also of blueberries, currants and grapes. It’s pretty good with no sweeteners in it, but after adding a bit of honey, it shines. Sweet-tart blueberry juice tea. I need to get more of this! (I copied this over from Steepster!)
I have to agree with the others that while the roselle is a bit tart, it isn’t the punch in your face from hibiscus tart. I did add some sugar to this, and I’m sure that helped mellow it out some. I got interested in this one when I saw aislingoftea write about it, and I knew that I wanted to try this in my next batch of samples from teavivre. So thanks to Angel for sending this one to me. The smell in the bag is simply intoxicating. My palate isn’t as refined as some to be able to pick out the individual fruits, and as the roselle offers that bit of tartness, it masks the other flavours a little bit for me. But I can say that the fruits all blend seamlessly into a nice fruity concoction. I can only imagine how awesome this will be as iced tea come summer. I wonder how it would be cold brewed. This tea makes me want one of those clear tea tumblers so I can show off my cheeky fruits! Overall, I’m pretty happy with this one. I had a feeling when I first requested this that the roselle might be a bit hibiscus-like, so I was a little nervous, but the other fruits just sounded so yummy, how could I not try this? :P This review was originally published on Steepster by Heather Martin on June, 2012. Reply: Dear Carlo, Thank you very much for writing to us. There are three steps to make iced tea. 1. Use the hot water to brew the blueberry fruit tea; 2. put the tea aside and wait the hot tea cool down; 3. put the tea into your refrigerator, or just add some ice bricks into the tea.
Reply: Hello Marilou, the Blueberry Fruit Tea has no flavouring. Its flavor is the natural fragrance and aroma of dehydrated blueberry, and other fruits and flowers, as you can see in the Ingredients of this tea.
Reply: We usually use 8~9 grams for 8oz of water.
