Oriental Beauty is considered a half-fermented tea, however the fermentation of Oriental Beauty tea leaves is higher than most other Oolong teas and can be fermented from anywhere between 65-85%.

Taiwan tea originated from Fujian, China. In the early 1800's a Fujian tea merchant took some seeds to Taiwan to see how well the plants would grow there. It proved to be very successful. Until now Taiwan tea has a history of more than 200 years.

TeaVivre visited Taiwan tea garden, did surveys about Taiwan Oolong tea and tasted many Taiwan Oolong tea then brought three kinds of Taiwan Oolong tea. The three kinds of Oolong tea are in the Taiwan Top Ten Famous tea list.
