Lapsang Souchong (Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong) origins from Wuyi mountain. Only Souchong (Xiao Zhong) black tea from Wuyi mountain can be called Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong. Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong in Wuyi was grown in a most suitable natural condition, and has a history of 400 years. It is also called Lapsang Souchong. During the producing process of Lapsang Souchong, pine charcoal and pine wood was used as fuel. The heavy smoke could be absorbed entirely by the black tea, so that thick smoky flavor could be brought to the Ginseng Oolong. If you are new for smoky black teas, you should slow down when tasting it.
