Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea has a similar appearance with Superfine Jasmine Downy Dragon Pearls Green Tea and Premium Jasmine Dragon Pearls Green Tea. The making skills of them are also similar. After the tea makers rolled the tea leaves into small pearl shape, they will mix the natural extractives from peach into the tea pearls. This fruity Dragon Pearl will make you feel like have actually eaten a peach.
Our Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea is analysed in accordance with the requirements of regulation (EC) 396/2005 (regulation on maximum residue levels in food and feed) in its currently valid version.
This Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea is made in the same method of making Premium Jasmine Dragon Pearls and Superfine Jasmine Downy Dragon Pearls. It is rolled into small pearl balls and dried. By maintained in the dry condition, the teas will be mixed with natural peach extractives, which produce the special peachy flavor. After brewed, peach aroma will be revealed in the tea leaves as well as in the tea liquid. When the peach flavor becomes thinner after several steep, you can then taste the jasmine fragrance.
The scenting of jasmine flowers and green teas is as long as 4 to 5 hours, and will be repeatedly scented for 6 to 7 times. Though the making process is complicated, the brewing of the tea is really a pleasant when you’re enjoying the sweet fragrance of the tea. What’s more, the tea leaves of making this tea comes from the Fuding Bai Hao tea trees. This tea tree is the material of Silver Needle White Tea. Higher quality leaves of one bud and one leaf shape are used to make the premium Silver Needle White Tea, while other leaves of one bud and two or more leaves shape are used to produce other teas, like this Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea.
Mr. Lin Xingbiao has been a professional tea farmer for thirty years. Born in a traditional tea family, he was deeply influenced by his family and built his own tea factory in 1966. With the gradual growth of his factory, he is trying to seek the common development between enterprise and tea farmers. He thinks that the most challengeable factor is the weather. If tea leaves suffered from bad weather, the yield would be reduced and the quality would not reach the standard. If tea leaves suffered from cold weather, straws would be used to cover them and protect them from being frosted. This is what Mr. Lin gets from his experience over the years.

Not sure if this Peach jasmine is for me. Maybe because I used water that was way way to hot. I will try this one again for sure.
I already loved all the other jasmine teas so I knew I would probably love this one. I just finished one bag and ordered two more tins tonight. When I order tins it means I intend to keep buying refills. My son-in-law usually drinks black tea but loved this when he tried it. The flavors don't cover up the green base, which is smooth, and the peach flavor is light and natural, while the jasmine adds a nice sweetness. This is so special and is great for sharing with friends.
This tea has a strong flavour of jasmine and the peach flavour is just peach smell, but gennerally speaking is good. It has a yellow colour, with green accents when is infused too much time..
I did not care for this tea. The peach flavor tastes artificial and clashes with the jasmine scent. I don't think I will order it again. TeaVivre: This tea is analysed in accordance with the requirements of EU regulation. The peach flavorings are also natural essence.
Just want to add something to my previous review: I noticed that the peach flavour is quite strong compared to jasmine or green tea. So it might be a good idea to mix teas to get the desired flavour you want. For example, when I really want a grassier peachy tea, I add some green teas (Dragon Well or Tian Mu Qing Ding); or add a good oolong for a peachy oolong tea. I even add a few pearl of this tea to my puerh sometimes. Improvise, and make the best out of your teas.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to try another tea with "peach" in its name as all the peach flavoured teas I tried before disappointed me-- they were all too artificial. I mean anyone can tell the difference between a real peach and the synthetic crap. BUT I'm so glad that I ordered the sample to give it a try, because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! When I open the package and take a sniff, I knew the tea is gonna be good -- the peach smell is authentic, just like what a real peach would smell! The peach note was quite prominent in the first 2-3 steeps, stronger than the jasmine note in my opinion. After the 3rd steep, I can still smell the peach but can't really "taste" it in the tea, so I sighed with satisfaction and said goodbye to the lovely tea leaves. If you are still not sure if you should try this, TRY IT! I know i'm ordering more! one tip: if you find the jasmine flavour not as strong as you would like, just add some of the Premium Jasmine Dragon Pearls Green Tea. They work wonderfully together.
Loving jasmine teas and real peaches, I ordered sample size of Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green. Typically I would get very bothered if peach tea tastes like artificial concentrate. (I buy 20-40 peaches per week when they're in season...I like real peaches.) I'm very pleased that Teavivre is one of the few retailers that offer real peach tea. The tea is a reasonably good peach/jasmine tea, however it does not quite match up to the quality of Teavivre's other teas (e.g. Jasmine Silver Needles White, Jasmine Dragon Pearls Green etc). It lacks in impressive flavour or astrigency-free quality. This is why I decided it deserves 4 stars. Dry leaves: Rolled pearls with peach aroma Brew method: 7g into 500mL insulated travel tumbler at 85C 1st steep: Aroma - Peachy (baked fruit if you cannot identify peach) accompanied by a moderate jasmine scent Taste - Jasmine green tea taste is stronger than the peach flavour. One important thing to note is the peach is at wonderful concentration and flavour; it tastes like real peach. If I take one of the in-season peaches at the supermarket and juice it, it will probably match this peach taste. Unfortunately the tea can gather astringency/bitterness in a travel tumbler, so I cannot give it 5 stars perfect. Perhaps when I have more time and of this tea, I will perform testings for temperature and steep time effects. *Unknown* brew care - not tested. I would still recommend this tea to anyone who is seeking for a true peach tea AND/OR who likes trying various jasmine teas.
I received this tea as a free sample with one of my orders. The dry leaves greeted me with a heavy and somewhat musky peach smell. Although the pouch recommended hotter water, I decided to stick with 174 degrees Fahrenheit. I did however observe the recommended 3 minute steep time. Despite the heavy smell of the dry leaves, the peach was not overpowering. I did not however taste much green tea flavor, and perhaps at most just an added smoothness and silkiness from the jasmine. The second steeping featured some impressive unfurling of the pearls, had weaker peach and stronger gritty textures that tasted as though they were from the jasmine. It was definitely better than the first steeping in terms of complexity. By the third steeping the pearls had unfurled completely and filled essentially the whole brewing vessel. The peach flavoring was considerably more relaxed, tasting so mild compared to previous infusions that I did not notice how strong it actually still was, giving the impression at first that all that was left was jasmine and slightly smoky plain green tea. It is still not watery, and made an excellent iced tea after I chilled it. This is a great scented green offering by Teavivre. Expect mostly a peach tea though -- there really is only a hint of jasmine. I appreciated it, but fans of moderate to heavy jasmine might find themselves wishing for a lot more. You could probably buy this along with the non-peach premium jasmine dragon pearl green tea and mix the two together though.
I wish I could give this a higher rating. Jasmine pearls are my favorite green tea, and peach happens to be my favorite flavoring so I was really hoping to love this. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. It's a perfectly fine tea, but not up to the high quality I've found in many other Teavivre options. There is almost no detectable jasmine or green tea flavors. It tastes almost exclusively of peach. Great to mix with other jasmine pearls, but not so wonderful on its own.
I don't tend to like green tea but love jasmine. The gongfu tasting didn't go very well so on an off chance, I cold drip brewed this shinobi-cha style to see if I could bring out more of the sweet flavors. It ended up amazing! About 75% peach flavor without being sugary or artificial, 15% jasmine and 10% green tea which threatened a bit about going bitter but didn't at all. Wouldn't repurchase based on the initial tasting but definitely would reconsider it based on the second, cold brew!
