The combinationm of fruits from this tea makes it a perfect tea for sultry days of summer , with a strong orange colour and a wonderful fruity smell. The taste is intendified by adding honey/sugar and lemon..
Blood orange is probably my favorite of the citruses. And this tea is unmistakably blood orange. And not the peel…the juicy insides that make your mouth water. Wow. I added a bit of honey to this, but to be honest, it really didn’t need it-it has a citrus twang to it..but that only enhances the blood orangeness. :D You can just smell the sweet apple, slightly tart currants, and the beautiful orange just radiating from this cup. Wow, mmm.. this tea is delicious. Yeah, I’m going to need to order more of this for sure.
I have Bronchiectasis & my pulmonary doctor has me on a plan to help expel the mucus in my lungs. Step 1: Drink some type of hot liquid. (That's where TeaVivre comes in
Wow, I loved this tea....I've read some other reviews regarding this tea and they state that it's a bit tart but I would have to disagree. I have a sweet tooth and find this tea soothing and full of flavour, a perfect drink on a cold winters day to bring a little sunshine your way. This along with the Peony organic white tea would be my two top choices. well done once again Teavire :-)
This was quite good! Tart and fruity. Very nice with just a touch of honey, especially when I had a soar throat. I recommend this to anyone who likes fruity infusions.
I bought this in the summer as I thought it would make the perfect iced tea, and I was right. My toddler and I couldn't get enough of all that juicy fruit in each sip. We didn't need to add sugar at all but it was completely refreshing. Orange was the prominent flavour, but I could also taste apple and black currant.
I read a few reviews of this tea that described it tasting like blood orange. Blood orange is one of my favourite fruits. I made this one hot and cold. The dry mix does not smell like much to me, maybe a bit of citrous. Nothing blood orange. The hot brew is not too bad. It is a bit tart. I am not getting much blood orange but am getting citrous. Sour orange. A bit of green apple. The cold brew is SUPER good. It smells like citrous but not blood orange. But the taste – BLOOD ORANGE!!!!! It is not exactly like blood orange but it is pretty close. Excellent as a cold brewed tea.
Oh, wow, this is the most powerfully orange-flavored tea I’ve ever had. The tea smells strongly of citrus, with a hint of dried apple and currants. It smells incredibly fruity and sharp, almost medicinal. (I mean that in a good way.) But mostly, it’s just orange. I gave it about eight minutes to steep with 6 teaspoons for 16 ounces of tea. The tea even looks orange, like a deep reddish orange. The flavor is tart and citrusy, but not just like the citrus fruit itself. You can taste the bitterness of the peel beneath it. Like the kind one would taste in orange spice teas. The currants add another layer of sourness, but in the finish, the apple pieces mellow it out. They add a pleasant sweetness. Anyway, this is like an orange juice fruit medley. I’m not a huge fan of orange or orange juice, but I think the people that are would love this. The raw blends ingredients are rather large and if I'm honest they are duller than shown in the picture. It has a sweet yet sour fruity scent of orange but darker than expected. Perhaps the darkness is from the raisins. Once steeped this tea is dark red/purple in colour and has a herbal and fruity aroma. It also smells a little tart and sour. Flavour is strong and very tart but also with a light sweet and fruity taste. The orange is the most noticeable fruit but the rose hip dominates above all else. The flavours lighten quickly to leave a gentle sour and fruity after taste.
