I found this Ming Qian to be pleasant, well-rounded, and of decent value. Most of the adjectives I would use to describe it are pretty common among Chinese green tea: chestnuty, grassy, a little sweet, a little floral. Along with fairly low astringency, these make for a balanced and enjoyable flavor profile. Even if it isn't particularly unique, there is enough depth, complexity, and flavor/fragrance there to keep a gongfu session reasonably interesting and engaging.
It is good, although I think one of the most comparable alternatives, "Premium Bi Luo Chun Green Tea (Pi Lo Chun)," does a little bit more for me.

This Oolong is truly exceptional - sweet, fresh, and delicate. It can be re-steeped at least four times without losing its characteristics or showing any signs of astringency. It might also work very well as a cold brew, though I haven’t tried that yet.

This year's tea is exceptional and, in my opinion, better than in previous years because it retains a very sweet flavor without the more pronounced burnt/toasted notes found in past years. Definitely a tea to have and to try.

It has that signature toasty, nutty note Long Jing is known for, but it's balanced beautifully by a vegetal undertone. For the price and consistency, it’s a solid everyday option, especially if you're looking for something approachable that still feels authentic.

I initially tried using the traditional Chinese 'gaiwan' method, with 5 grams of tea leaves to 100 milliliters of water. The result was an aggressive, bitter tea, interesting but very harsh to drink. I gave it a second chance with the simplest approach possible, the 'grandpa style.' I just put 1.5 grams of tea leaves into a 200-milliliter cup of boiling water and let it steep for a minute and drank it, and it was simply delightful—a sweet tea, full of flavors, full of aromas. A very special tea, highly recommended, very interesting.

Da Hong Pao was too thick and bitter for my taste, especially as someone who prefers refreshing green teas. This tea felt more like a blend of red and white tea, lacking the vibrancy I enjoy.
