A good, affordable option for Western style tea with milk and/or sugar. A shorter infusion highlights the fruity scent, while a longer infusion seems to bring out the cocoa notes. Hints of smoke and orange.

I had no idea tea could smell and taste like this.
I've been trying to place where it takes me to, but I think I have it - 20 years old, summertime, my friend's living room, sharing peach cigarillos (that were definitely against their tenancy agreement) and drinking moscato. (The moscato and cigarillos were probably not very good, but nostalgia has made the scent classy and flavour expensive.) Very interesting alcoholic/wine note that's new to me in tea. Also the later steeps take an almost pink tone, which is fun.
Get a sample of this just for the "this is *pu-erh*?!?" experience.

Wow! Orchid flavor. Great tea. It gently warms my stomach. Well balanced between floral and roasted taste. Milan Xiang is the first Phoenix Dan Cong oolong I have ever tried, because they say it's the best. And it is! The Teavivre's version is no exception. Worth buying if you can afford it. I only got a sample.

The warm leaves have a roasted oolong and sweet corn aroma. The wet leaves smell like roasted sweet potatoes. It's a very good tea, with a floral and fruity aroma and taste, and there is a fruity aroma in the empty cup.

Nice assortment of very good Phoenix Dan Cong. I tasted these teas from the least expensive to the more expansive. I have noticed more complexity, more balance, and more floral taste from one tea to the next, the Milan Xiang being definitely the best!

The wet leaves have a nice earthy, woody, mushroom aroma. The first infusion is lighter in color and taste. The second infusion is already better. There is an obvious glutinous rice taste, and a mushroom/wood aftertaste. It's a full-body tea, and it's somewhat smooth, but I wish it had a thicker texture. Overall, it's a good tea, and a daily drinker. Worth buying.

Brewed this tea Western style at ~200F, 3 minutes for the first infusion, 5 minutes for the second. It has a very sweet, pleasant smell, almost like butterscotch. Smooth and without bitterness, I enjoy the dessert-like comfort when served with plenty of milk and/or a tiny bit of sugar (half a teaspoon was plenty for me).
Overall this was a lovely, affordable treat on a cold and somewhat stressful morning.

I still have a little left over from the spring of 2024 harvest. Spring is here again and I'm craving green teas again. This one is just superb. Jasmine greens were one of my first tea loves and this one is just everything I could want. Fragrant. Sweet. Super relaxing. An excellent tea.

- wet leaves have hint of dark berry aroma like jam but very light.
Taste :
- No bitterness at all
- very light (black tea) taste and aroma i can't pick complex tastes or smells from the cup .
- good red orange color .
- no smokiness at all.
Maby good at night for a light tasting tea
Generally its good tea but I prefer a bit stronger and obvious taste for the morning cup.
I'll try it again and update my review if I feel any changes.

The warm leaves have the typical raw puerh aroma, with a lot of floral and vegetal aroma peeking through. The taste, wow, so good! It has some Alishan oolong notes (high quality, floral and vegetal). The texture is smooth. Worth buying! I already want more.
