Angel's Comment:
Elegant appearance with a classic charm.
Kyusu, or side-handle teapot, is made for the convenience of pouring tea. It breaks the original rule that the spout and the handle in a line, and design the handle into a "holding style", which is not only easy to grasp, but also can avoid scald. TeaVivre’s side-handle teapot is made of Ru Yao porcelain, which is a very precious ceramic, which ranks the first place among Chinese Five Famous Kiln -- Ru, Guan, Ge, Jun, Ding (汝、官、哥、钧、定). Ru Yao craftsmen will put precious agate into glaze, firing of a delicate, smooth utensil, which has a reputation “like jade, not jade, but beautiful than jade”.
The teapot handle is made of black ebony, smooth and comfortable. While the strings on the teapot handle can also avoid slip and scald.
The golden knob adds a sense of brisk.
Located in Fujian province, Dehua County is the famous porcelain and ceramic origin and an important base for exporting porcelain in China. With over thousand-year history, Dehua porcelain is characterized by its elegant design, excellent craft, hard texture and watery white appearance.
