This time TeaVivre toke part in the Fall Hot (Loose Leaf) Tea Competition held in March 2018, judged by professional cuppers to distinguish the highest quality and best-tasting teas commercially available worldwide. The tea catalogue of this competition mainly includes black tea, Pu-erh tea, Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong and etc.
We struggled to decide which tea participate the Competition. After repeatedly tasting the tea samples, we finally decide the competing tea: Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip, one of our best-selling black teas. Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip, from Fengqing area of Lincang, is selected the large-leaf tea bush species of High Mountain ecological tea garden with an elevation of 1800 meters as the raw material. Its strips are delicate, golden in color and full of golden tips. After infusion, the tea liquor is full, sweet, mellow and very smooth. The following are the feedbacks from the judges:
Dry Leaf: Tippy/Clean & Neat
Liquor Flavor: Characteristic of Category, Complex
Liquor Mouthfeel/Body: Smooth, Good Bodies, Well-Conceived, Balanced
