Teavivre Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip Won the Silver Medal

We’re delighted to announce that TeaVivre Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip stood out in many competing teas and got the Silver Medal of Yunnan Category.

This time TeaVivre toke part in the Fall Hot (Loose Leaf) Tea Competition held in March 2018, judged by professional cuppers to distinguish the highest quality and best-tasting teas commercially available worldwide. The tea catalogue of this competition mainly includes black tea, Pu-erh tea, Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong and etc.

We struggled to decide which tea participate the Competition. After repeatedly tasting the tea samples, we finally decide the competing tea: Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip, one of our best-selling black teas. Yun Nan Dian Hong Black Tea – Golden Tip, from Fengqing area of Lincang, is selected the large-leaf tea bush species of High Mountain ecological tea garden with an elevation of 1800 meters as the raw material. Its strips are delicate, golden in color and full of golden tips. After infusion, the tea liquor is full, sweet, mellow and very smooth. The following are the feedbacks from the judges:

Liquor Flavor: Characteristic of Category, Complex

Liquor Mouthfeel/Body: Smooth, Good Bodies, Well-Conceived, Balanced

Overall Harmony: Balanced: The tea is overall balanced from dry leaf, aroma, color, taste and mouthfeel. No one component is lacking.

Overall Comments: Spicy, smooth and sweet. Very flavorful. Lovely Tea. Rich, Sweet, Full Body and no off notes.

Besides, in last September’s Spring Hot (Loose Leaf) Tea Competition, our Nonpareil Taiwan DaYuLing High Mountain Cha Wang Oolong Tea also awarded a Silver Medal in the Green Oolong category at the Global Tea Championship.
