Super Typhoon Meranti Made Landfall in Fujian Province

Recently, all the packages sent from Fujian province are more likely to be delayed due to the influence of typhoon Meranti.

Typhoon Meranti made landfall in Xiang’an district of Xiamen City, east China’s Fujian Province, at 3:05 a.m. Thursday, with gales up to 48 meters per second. Meranti is the second typhoon that makes landfall in Fujian Province, China, which is the world’s strongest so far this year.

It is said that the typhoon has made severe damages to the power grid in Xiamen, causing mass blackout without any water supplies. Moreover, it also made the transportation in Xiamen was paralysed.

So far, the typhoon Meranti still hits Xiamen city, and we even don’t know the specific damages for our warehouse out there. The data for warehouse-damaged and the loss for the Xiamen Post offices caused by the typhoon will be published when Meranti moves away. Thus, almost all the packages sent from Fujian province are more likely to be delayed due to the influence of typhoon Meranti.

Here we’d be so appreciated for your understanding about this special and uncontrollable situation. If there’s any newest information about typhoon Meranti, we’ll update it on time.

Stay tuned and praying for everyone’s safety. (Ps: fortunately, our colleagues at the warehouse department in Xiamen are all safety now!)

After October 5, our shipping department in Xiamen has already back to normal. If you have any plans to stock up the inventory, I think it’s the time now!
