This Lemon Mate tea of TeaVivre is made from all the leaf blades, so the shape of dry tea leaves are tiny and flat, in yellow-green natural color. Besides, blended with natural citronella and dried fruits, this blend tea has a unique flavor. After steeping, the tea infusion appears yellow-green color with fragrant aroma as well refreshing and sweet taste. When you are drinking, you can add some ice to make iced tea, and you can also add fresh fruits to adjust the taste regarding on your preference, which will have another special flavor.

About Mate Tea

Originating in South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, Mate tea already has a history of more than 400 years, which is made from the leaves of Yerba Mate of the holly plant. In addition, it is called as "a drinkable salad" for containing lots of vitamins and minerals. The period from April to August of every year is the harvest season of Mate tea. After picking from trees, tender shoots and green leaves will be produced by a series of progress like drying, fermenting, roasting, grinding and so on.
