Angel's Comment:
This teapot has large capacity, made by authentic clay with exquisite workmanship, which has great collection value.
This teapot is made by master Yuan Ting. The overall shape is simple, the color of Qing Hui Ni is calm and dignified, gray but still shiny, very unique. The whole teapot does not have too much decoration, only the lotus seed shape of the teapot knob echoes with a lotus flower on the body, adding a bit of brightness and color.
Material – Qing Hui Ni
Qing Hui Ni is a kind of clay material which is processed by "Chen Fu" of Duan Ni, which is gray-white and blue-gray after firing. Qing Hui Ni has been exploited and utilized in the Ming Dynasty. It has won the love of many Zisha teapot collectors for its gray and quiet color, sandy, iron-like texture, and dense and heavy quality. Qing Hui Ni has high air permeability and is suitable for brewing green tea, raw Pu'erh, Tieguanyin, black tea, etc.
The Maker – Yuan Ting
Yuan Ting was born in the Zisha village of Yixing, and is skilled in the design and creation of Zisha teapots while using a style combining both modern reality and older tradition. As a result, her works are elegant and graceful, yet simultaneously simple.
