Angel's Comment:

This entry level Pu-erh Mini Tuocha with Chrysanthemum floral fragrance is great for Puerh beginners, as we as its individually wrap making it convenient for using.

This Chrysanthemum Pu-erh Mini Tuocha is made from ripened Pu-erh leaf compressing with Chrysanthemum flower to produce these gorgeous miniature Pu-erh tea cakes. The Chrysanthemum lends a light and sweet floral note to the earthy and mellow Pu-erh flavors, complimenting the Pu-erh perfectly and creating a unique flavor profile.

Pu-erh teas are specifically grown and processed so that – when stored properly – they age well over time, creating deeper, richer and more complex flavors and aromas. In fact, many Pu-erh tea bricks or cakes which are decades old now are quite good. Usually speaking, Pu-erh teas are labeled with the year they were picked and packaged, as well as the region they were grown in, much like a vintage wine. Pu-erh tea should be ideally stored in a cool, dry and dark place, where it cannot absorb odors, sunlight or air. When stored as such, the flavor and value of the tea increases greatly over time.

The tissue paper wrapped over the cake or brick can help to keep the tea dry and protect it from odor. The tissue paper will wear and tear after long time's storage due to oxidization.
