The tea liquid is refreshing and sweet, the tea buds are plump. This 200g small cake is suitable for friends who like Yunnan white tea.
This Silver Needle Cake Tea is made from the whole tea buds of Yunnan large-leaf species, which are naturally withered and then pressed into cakes. The whole cake looks gorgeous for the dense white pekoe are covered inside and outside of the cake, and the tea buds are fat and distinct. Gently shake the dry tea in a warm Gaiwan, and you can smell the unique fragrance and floral fragrance of Yunnan white tea; the taste is refreshing, sweet and soft, with a long-lasting honey sweet aroma at the bottom of the fair cup. If you prefer a mild taste and a tea that is flowery and sweet, this entry-level white tea is excellent for daily consumption.

The region of Fengshan area in Yunnan is a prominent place with Arbor tea trees. There’re lots of old tea trees that are aged to a few hundred years and some are even up to a thousand years old or more. Fengshan, joint Xiaowan town to the East, Sanchahe to the South, Menyou and Desili to the west, and Dasi to the North, is a main area in Fengqing that cover more than 50 000 mu tea planting with mainly above 1900 meters altitude.

Fengqing is a county locates in the northwest of Lincang, one of the four famous tea production areas (Xishuangbanna, Pu’er, Lincang and Baoshan), and is one of the first origin places of tea in the world. It is also famous for being the hometown of Yunnan black tea in Lincang. Fengqing has a long history of planting, producing and drinking tea and it contains a throng of mountains alternated with rivers.
This tea is made from the Fengqing large-leaf subspecies of the Yunnan large-leaf. It propagates sexually and takes the form of an arbour tree, meaning that it can grow to over six meters tall. 1984, the Fengqing large-leaf species was certified by the Chinese government as a national grade. It contains an abundance of tea polyphenols (30.2%) and catechins (13.4%), as well as 2.9% amino acids and 3.2% caffeine.
