You Xi Tea Garden is situated in San Ming City, Fujian Province. It is nestled between the Wuyi and Daiyun Mountains, covered in mists and mist all year and surrounded by clean springs. The tea garden practices ecological management and uses water sources to irrigate. It lies 400-500 meters above sea level, with an average yearly temperature of 21 degrees Celsius. The humidity is between 80% and 90%, and the soil is fertile and deep, making it ideal for the growth of tea trees.

Origin

San Ming City, Fujian Province is located between the Wuyi and Daiyun Mountains. It has a unique biological habitat and abundant agricultural resources. It is renowned as the "Fujian Tea Native Zone," and the entire city is ideal for the growth of tea plants. As of 2019, San Ming City's tea garden area was 316,100 acres, with a production of 45,500 tons. Both acreage and output ranked fifth in the province, demonstrating the importance of tea cultivation in Fujian Province.

Jin Mu Dan (Golden Peony) was bred by the Tea Research Institute of the Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences through cross-breeding using Tieguanyin as the female parent and Huangyan as the male parent. In 2010, it passed the national appraisal and became a national tea tree variety. The dried sample of one bud and two leaves of spring tea contain approximately 3.9% amino acids, 34.9% tea polyphenols, 4.4% caffeine, and 45.2% water extract. The tea produced has a strong aromatic scent and a mellow, sweet flavor.
